생물 교과서의 이독성 (易讀性) 측정 도구로서 Cloze 검사의 적용 방법에 대한 연구 = Research Articles : An Application of Cloze Procedure as a Tool of Measuring readability Level of biology Textbook

This study investigated the proper elimination rate of cloze test for biology textbooks. As the result a blank per every 7 words was most proper elimination rate to determine readability level of biology textbooks with cloze test. The scale of cloze score to estimate readability level of biology textbooks was also determined. If the cloze test score of a paragraph is below 23%, the readability level of the paragraph is low (that is difficult). If the score is within 23∼37%, the readability level of the paragraph is intermediate. and if the score is above 37%, the readability level of the paragraph is high (that is easy). With this methods we estimated the readability level of Korean highschool biology textbook (Biology I·II).
