유아교사 평가의 새로운 접근 = New Approaches to Early Childhood Teacher Evaluation

The demands of teaching more challenging content to more diverse learners suggest a need for teacher evaluation strategies that will enable teachers to become more sophisticated in their understanding of the ways in which context and learner variability effect teaching and learning. From this perspective, the article examines major problems encountered in Korea`s early childhood teacher evaluation today. Case studies, portfolios, concept maps, problem-based inquiries (or action research) are suggested as more appropriate evaluation tools which can be used within the teaching context.
