The purpose of the study is to investigate the effect of reflective thinking training on the Kindergarten preservice teachers` science activity administration. For this purpose 60 kindergarten preservice teachers were selected and investigated by science evaluation Inventory and Reflective Teaching Index. The results of this study are as follows; 1. There were no significant differences between groups who received the reflective treatment and who did not receive the treatment in the SEI pretest. 2. T-test analysis indicated no significant difference between groups who received the treatment and who did not receive the treatment in four subcategories.(knowledge, planning and organization, teaching methods, and personal relations). But there is a significant difference between the two groups in one subcategory:enthusiasm. 3. A one-way MANOVA was used to investigate the RTI who received the treatment and who did not receive the treatment. The RTI was created by Zeichner and Liston(1983) to investigate the degree of reflectivity in oral discourse. Discourse analysis revealed significant differences in the level of reflectivity in Explanatory/ hypothetical discourse and Critical discourse in student journals. The predominant discourse category was Factual discourse.
