실직가정 청소년의 적응유연성 (resilience) 증진을 위한 프로그램 개발 및 효과성 평가 = Effectiveness of Program for Increasing Resilience of Adolescents from Unemployed Families

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 실직이라는 위기를 경험하고 있는 실직가정의 청소년 자녀들의 심리사회적 문제를 예방하고, 고위험 상황에서도 보다 효과적으로 대처할 수 있도록 하기 위한 목적으로 적응유연성 증진 프로그램을 구성하고, 이 프로그램의 효과성을 측정하고자 했다. 효과성 검증을 위한 설계는 실험집단 15명, 통제집단 21명을 대상으로 한 통제집단후비교설계를 적용하였다. 분석결과, 본 연구에서 상정한 대표적인 개인적 위험요소인 우울이 실험집단에서 유의미하게 낮았던 반면에, 개인적 보호요소인 책임감과 자기유능감은 유의미하게 높게 나와 그 효과성이 검증되었다. 그러나 환경적 보호요소의 증가여부를 보기 위한 가족관계 만족도나 또래관계 만족도에서는 유의미한 차이를 발견할 수 없었다. 이러한 결과는 본 연구에서 시도한 실직가정 청소년의 적응유연성 프로그램이 우울, 책임감, 자기유능감과 같은 개인적인 측면에서의 개선을 가져왔지만 가족관계나 또래관계 증진에는 실질적인 기여를 하지 못했음을 의미한다. 결론적으로 실직가정 자녀의 위기에 대한 적응유연성을 보다 적극적으로 증진시키기 위해서는 본 프로그램과 같은 자녀 대상 프로그램을 실시하되, 자녀들의 프로그램 구성 원리와 내용, 실직이 청소년자녀에게 미치는 영향과 그 대처방안 등에 대해서 부모는 물론 교사들에게도 알림으로써 환경체계의 변화를 동시에 시도해야 함을 알 수 있었다.

Though many experts have called for psychosocial intervention for adolescents of unemployed families, there are little such efforts. Thus, this study attempts to develop and to evaluate a program for increasing resilience of adolescents whose parents are unemployed. The Resilience Increasing Program have focused on mentioning services for academic and emotional support. The posttest-only control group design was applied to evaluate the program and the effectiveness was examined by nonparametric statistical analysis, the Mann-Whitney Test. According to the results of Mann-Whitney Test, the scores of self-efficacy and duty was increased and the depression score was decreased significantly. These results suggest that the designed and performed group program in this study would be effective in increasing resilience of adolescents from unemployed families.
