노년기 부부의 결혼만족도 연구

The purpose of this study is to find how the marital satisfaction of the elderly is to show how those factors are inter-related in terms of the elderly`s marital satisfactions, and finally to give some suggestions for helping the elderly`s better adaptation to the marriage lives. The subjects of this study are 188 elderly men and women, aged over 60 and living with the spouse. Statistics, such as percentiles, frequency, mean, analysis of variance, correlations, and multiple regression, are used to analyze the data by SPSS PC program. The result of the research is as follows: l. Demographic factors such as education, self`s health condition, spouse`s health condition, and the main source of expenses, were appeared to significantly influence on the difference of the elderly`s marital satisfaction. 2. Among the psycho-social factors in this study, factors such as locus of control, emotional relationships with their children, and the perception of spouse`s role are positively related with their marital satisfaction. However, the concept of the marriage was found to be negatively related. 3. The perception of spouse`s role, the concept of the marriage, and spouse`s health condition are the most influential factors affecting the elderly`s marital satisfaction relatively. And the most influential factor was the perception of the spouse`s role.
