This research was focused on the filial piety, familism of the adult-children and consciousness for supporting their parents. The subjects of this study were 410 adult-children having at least one parent who aged 60years and over in Gyeongnam area. The major findings are as follows: First, the adult-children`s filial piety and consciousness for supporting their parents was high but familism was about average. Second, the higher the adult-children`s filial piety and familism were, the higher the adult-children`s consciousness for supporting their parents was. Third, the familism was shown to be the most important factor for the adult-children to support their parents.
