청소년의 감각추구성향과 인터넷중독 경향 및 인터넷 관련 비행간의 상관성 = The Relationships between Adolescent`s Sensation seeking , Internet Addiction Tendency , and Internet - related Delinquency

The present study was intended to examine the relationships between adolescents` sensation seeking, Internet addiction tendency, and Internet-related delinquency. The subjects for this study were 469 students attending the sixth grade of two elementary schools, the third grade of two middle schools, and the second grade of two high schools in Checheon. The subjects were asked to rate the questionnaires concerning sensation seeking, Internet addiction tendency, and Internet-related delinquency. Statistical procedures were correlation analysis, t-test, and two-way ANOVA. The results were as follows: (1) There were positively significant correlations between adolescents` sensation seeking, Internet addiction tendency, and Internet-related delinquency, (2) Adolescents rated higher in the levels of sensation seeking were lower in the levels of Internet addiction tendency and Internet-related delinquency. (3) There were differences in the levels of Internet addiction tendency and Internet-related delinquency by sexes and grades. Results, suggestions, and limits of this study were discussed.
