This study explored the comparability of two instruments of career attitude, a Korean version and English version, originally developed in Korea(Career Attitude Maturity Inventory, CAMI, Lee, 1997). The Korean version was translated to English to investigate the adaptability of constructs of career attitude across cultures. In order to enhance the adaptability of the Korean version to U.S. students, this study followed three main procedures, that is, translation, back translation, and field testing. The results of this field testing showed that the bilingual respondents understood the Korean original version and English version equally. And it suggested that we achieved the equivalence of wording and meaning between the two versions. Overall, results suggested to confirm the comparability and validity of our instrument.
