현실상담요법에 의한 초등학교의 진로교육 효과에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Effects of a Career Awareness Education for Elementary Students with Reality Therapy

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The study intended to verify the effects of a career awareness education program and to see if this experimental program might promote the student's self-awareness and make the student life design and lead children to realize themselves. In addition to above purposes, the study tried to examine what the major factors are in drawing out the career awareness among the elementary students.

The study drew the following conclusions through the statistical tests by using career awareness tests and the individual interviews, in other to examine the effects of the career awareness program for elementary school students.
This study suggests the followings on the basis of the above results.
First, the curriculum to strengthen career awareness is greatly needed in elementary education and should be planned closely to connect the daily school experiences and the career worlds.
Second, we should endeavor to make the better programs through the broad study on the effect of the career awareness programs. Especially, the applicable aspects of the program in real work situation should be stressed.
Third, the career awareness program for the talented children and the learning-disabled children should be developed and applied in addition to the program for normal children.
