여고생의 체육수업 인식에 관한 주요사건 기록 연구 = A Critical Incident Study of Female High School Students' Perception about Physical Education Class

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 고등학교 여학생들이 체육수업에 대해 좋았던 점과 싫었던 점을 솔직하게 서술하게 함으로써 체육수업에 대한 여고생의 인식을 총체적으로 심도 있게 분석하는데 있다. 연구의 대상자는 경기도의 위성도시에 소재하고 있는 `S`여자고등학교 1, 2, 3학년에 재학하고 있는 하급 중에서 각 학년별로 2개 학급씩 무작위로 6개 학급을 선정하였다. 선정된 6개 학급의 인원은 50명씩으로 학년별 100씩 총 300명이 설문을 작성하였다. 주요사건기록분석 결과 체육수업에 대한 인식의 서술 내용은 총665개로 좋았던 점은 330개 , 싫었던 점은 335개로 나타났다. 총체적 자료의 분석결과, 좋았던 경험으로는 `자유시간`을 주기 때문에 라는 응답이 가장 많았으며, `운동이나 게임`도 많은 지지를 받았다. 반면, 스트레스 해소, 대화, 체력단련은 소수로 나타났다. 싫었던 경험에서는 `교사의 수업형태`와 관련하여 실기평가, 수업의 부실운영, 욕설/폭력이 가장 많이 나타나 교사의 전문성과 자질이 크게 부족한 것으로 나타났다. `학습환경`은 운동장수업, `기타`에서는 복장강요, `학습활동`에서는 준비운동을 싫어하는 것으로 밝혀져 여학생들의 인식과 태도에 문제가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 체육수업에서의 교수행동이 학생들에게 부정적으로 비추어지고 있으며 교사의 교수활동에 대한 특별한 조치나 개선이 이루어져야 할 필요성을 제시하고 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the female high school students` perception about physical education classes in Korea. Critical incident report was used to categorize the written accounts into specific subcategories. Three hundred high school female students were used to collect data regarding positive and negative experiences through their physical education classes. Total 665 written accounts were analyzed to determine the perception on P. E. classes. In positive experience, the most written account was on "free play" and the next was on "game play". In negative experience, "unfairness of skill test", "lack of management skill", "verbal abuse", "warming-up", "uniform" were mentioned very often. The results of this study indicated that most female students has not positive perception about P.E. environmental things, but not the activity itself. Plus, physical education teachers` behavior tend to be viewed negatively by girl students. This study suggests that physical education teacher should be realize and devote themselves for the students` learning.
