쉼터 거주 아내학대 피해여성을 위한 지지집단 프로그램에 관한 연구 : 페미니스트 접근의 쉼터를 중심으로 = A Study on Support Group for the Baettered Women Residing in the Shelter-Focused on the Shelters with Feminist Perspectives

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 페미니스트 접근을 시도하는 쉼터에서 활용할 수 있도록 아내학대 피해여성을 위한 강점중심적 지지집단프로그램을 개발하여 실시하였다. 프로그램은 입ㆍ퇴소가 빈번하며 단기보호를 하는 쉼터의 특성을 감안하여 개방집단형식으로 주 2회씩 총 8회에 걸쳐 진행되었으며, 명상시간과 스트레칭, 주제에 대한 토론, 그리고 칭찬하기 시간으로 구성되었다. 명상시간과 스트레칭은 지지집단에서 널리 활용되는 방법이며 본 프로그램에서도 스트레스 관리 훈련을 위하여 도입되었다. 주제를 미리 선정하고 주제와 관련된 명상 멘트와 활동을 통해 논의를 활성화하였으며, 피해여성이 쉼터에서 폭력의 후유증을 극복하고 부부관계, 자녀관리, 이혼문제 등 여러 가지 현실적인 대안을 검토할 수 있는 기회를 제공하였다. 마지막으로 반장돌아가기와 칭찬하기 시간을 도입하여 회원들이 서로의 강점을 발견하도록 하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to develop a support group for battered women, in particular in the shelter with feminist perspectives, since feminist-oriented shelters have played a leading role in the service area of the battered women and many of shelters still favor feminist approach. This study assumed that support group would accomodate mutual support of the battered women, strengths-oriented empowerment approach which are the most crucial elements of feminist counseling. The support group was open-ended and met twice in a week considering the nacre of relatively short stay in the shelter. The group had 8 meetings and was consisted of Meditation and Stretching, Discussion and Praise-time. The subject of discussion in each session was predetermined to help the battered women to understand domestic violence and deal with emotional problems and review alternatives. In order to facilitate discussion, subject related activities were introduced in each session.
