한국 초등교육의 이념 = The ldeology of Elementary Education in Korea

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 오늘날 공교육, 즉 의무, 무상, 보통 교육으로 이루어지고 있는 초등교육의 이념이 무엇인지 찾아보기 위한 것이다. 이 연구는 오늘날 공교육, 즉 의무, 무상 , 보통 교육으로 논의하고자 하는 데 목적이 있다. 공공성이란 태어날 때부터 우리 안에 내재된 사랑과 정의이다. 그것을 되찾기 위해서는 우리는 어린아이로 돌아가야 한다. 그리고 전체성이란 깨어있는 몰입이다. 그것 또한 어리아이로 돌아가야 되찾을 수 있다. 그리고 평등성은 이러한 공공성과 전체성이 실현되기 위한 전제 조건이다. 평등성은 아이들이 이미 가지고 있는 그 공공성과 전체성을 보전하기 위함이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to find out shat must be ideology of elementary education in Korea. I concluded that the ideology of elementary education must be publicity, wholeness and equality. Publicity means the justice and love which was given by birth. I analyze publicity using the concept of "learning for the sake of self". It means self-directed learning that leads the learner to integration with whole existence. Wholeness means awakened immersion which can be found by returning to childhood. I analize it with three aspect, acceptance awakening and individualization Equality can not derived from the tradition of oriental thought. But equality can make publicity and wholeness possible. In the publicity, wholeness and equality we can return to the childhood which is the permanent goal of all education.
