    Although the researches on lexicography are on the increase, these are mostly focused on the linguistic problems while making dictionaries, or the construction method of the corpus. But the most important thing is to analyse and to survey the possible user group. The user survey is a subfield of the lexicography. In this thesis, it will be demonstrated that the contents and other things of a dictionary can vary according to the features of a user group by the dictionary criticism of America and France. Then the three Korean dictionaries for elementary school children also will be criticized. Besides, it will be proposed that how researchers should survey and teach the user group of Korean dictionary.
