This study analyzes the extent to which kindergarten teachers recognize and accept the organizational culture of Korean kindergartens. Subjects were 1,170 teachers of varying age, education, marital status, experience and status. They were selected from institutions varying in size and type of establishment (public or private and/or half-day or full-day). Questionnaires were administered and responses analyzed by F and Turkey test. The two most significant factors among the 9 factors analyzed are the size of the kindergarten and the experience of teachers. The findings of this study might serve as basic materials in developing effective and improved operations of kindergartens in Korea relative to management, teacher preparation, in-service training and supervision of instruction.
