유치원에서 유아들의 만남과 헤어짐에 관한 이해 = Understanding of Encounter and Leaving of Children in the Kindergarten

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to understand the process of encounter and leaving of children in the kindergarten and to review the meaning of encounter and leaving after the children experienced it. For this study, I have performed the qualitative study with participant observation. I entered the life world of children and observed the process of encounter and leaving in five months. My research interests are as follows: First, what is the process of encounter and leaving of children in the kindergarten? For understanding the process, I observed and described the manner of encounter and leaving for each that focused on the children`s behaviors and the routines of kindergarten. Secondly, what do children experience in the process of encounter and leaving, and what is the meaning of it? For this research question, I tried to find the meaning of encounter and leaving that based of the process of it. As a result, I found the characteristics that children experienced continually. These characteristics are follows: 1. Affiliation and secession. 2. Invasion and protection. 3. Sharing, possession and friendship. 4. Instrumental relationship and essential relationship. The meaning of encounter and leaving is categorized by four characteristics and then I interpret the meaning of encounter and leaving.
