This paper examined the determinants of partnership between export companies and logistic providers. Five variables that influence the partnership were applied to the research model, two of them being structural conditions and three of them operating conditions. Also the relationship satisfaction as proxy for the partnership outcome was examined. In the statistical analysis, first of all relating structural condition, a hypotheses for mutual interdependence showed to be supported positively, but a hypotheses for impotance of logistics showed not to be supported. Relating operating conditions, a hypotheses for flexibility and information exchange showed to be supported, but a hypotheses for the joint ownership of risk and compensation showed not to be supported. These results, in short, supported the importance of the structural and operational condition in the inter-firms partnerships.
