다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)
The purpose of this study was to present the efficient program model of teaching of English listening and speaking comparing the effect of the immersion program and EFL. The immersion program was designed to increase the opportunities fur natural communication in English, to strengthen students' English language proficiency, to increase self-confidence in using English, and to prepare students for participation in the global community. This study is not to advocate immersion for all foreign language learners, but to describe in detail the curriculum of the program and to make some suggestions to improve this program. It was meaningful in providing a steady supply of interesting, challenging opportunities for participants to take part in natural English communication. It is hoped that other institutions which are planning to implement this type of program will benefit from this study.
