The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship among the self-concept, achievement motivation and job satisfaction of the elementary school female teachers
The main hypotheses of this study are as follows:
1. There will be a significant correlation between self-concept and achievement motivation of elementary school female teachers.
2. There will be difference in the correlation between self-concept and achievement motivation of elementary school female teachers according to career and married or non married.
3. There will be a significant correlation between self-concept and job satisfaction of elementary school female teachers.
4. There will be difference in the correlation between self-concept and job satisfaction of elementary school female teachers according to career and married or non married.
5. There will be a significant correlation between achievement motivation and job satisfaction of elementary school female teachers.
6. There will be difference in the correlation between achievement motivation and job satisfaction of elementary school female teachers according to career and married or non married.
7. There will be a significant multiple correlation among the self-concept, achievement motivation and job satisfaction of elementary school female teachers.
The total subjects of this study were 280 female teachers, who were in elementary school in Ma-san and Chang-won city.
The measurements used in this study were the standardized Self-Concept Test made by Jung, Won-sik, the achievement motivation Test made by Kim, Gil-Gun and Job Satisfaction Test made by Hang, Yung-Sung.
The main results of this study are as follows.
1. There is a significant correlation between self-concept and job satisfaction of elementary school female teachers.
2. There is no significant difference in the correlation between self-concept and achievement motivation of elementary school female teachers according to career and married or non married.
3. There is partly significant correlation between self-concept and job satisfaction of elementary school female teachers.
4. There is no significant difference in the correlation between self-concept and job satisfaction of elementary school female teachers according to career and married or non married.
5. There will be a significant correlation between achievement motivation and job satisfaction of elementary school female teachers.
6. There will be difference in the correlation between achievement motivation and job satisfaction of elementary school female teachers according to career and married or non married.
7. There will be a significant multiple correlation among the self-concept, achievement motivation and job satisfaction of elementary school female teachers.
