영성경험 척도의 심리측정학적 분석 = Psychometric analyses on Spiritual Experience Index

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 한국 대학생들에게 적용가능한 신앙의 성숙 척도를 개발하고, 그 척도의 타당성을 경험적으로 밝히는데 목적이 있다. 한국 기독교 대학에 재학 중인 학생 250명을 대상으로 영성경험척도, 영적성숙척도, 신앙성숙척도 및 영적안녕척도를 실시하였다. Genia(1991)의 영성경험척도 점수의 기술통계량, 요인분석, 등급반응이론을 적용한 문항분석에 의하여 최종 18개 문항이 선정되었다. 최종 척도의 신뢰도는 .95로 매우 높게 나타났다. 18개 문항으로 구성된 영성경험척도와 영적안녕척도, 영적성숙척도, 신앙성숙척도 간 상관계수를 산출한 결과 영성경험척도의 수렴타당도와 변별타당도도 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 신앙수준간 영성경험척도의 평균 점수간 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타나 영성경험척도가 한국 대학생들의 신앙의 성숙도를 측정하는데 적합한 도구임이 입증되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of the present study is to develop a scale to measure spiritual maturity and to prove its psychometric quality for Korean college students. Responses for Four scales--Spiritual Experience Index, Spiritual Maturity Index, Faith Maturity and Spiritual Well-Being Scale--are obtained from 250 Korean college students. Data were analyzed to obtain item quality, factor structure, reliabilty coefficients and its validity evidences.
Based on descriptive statistics, factor analyses, and item response theory, 18 items are finally included in the scale. Items has good discrimination index alocation indices. The internal consistency of the scale was .95. The convergent and discriminant validity evidence was obtained from correlation coefficients among four scales mentioned above. The scale scores were significatly different in their means among the students' faith level. It is concluded that the Spiritual Experience Index is appropriate for Korean college students.
