    This study was conducted to find out the association of coping strategies with job stress symptoms and job outcomes among some workers at an electronics company. Sociodemographic characteristics, coping strategies, job stress symptoms, and job outcomes were assessed by a self-administered questionnaire. Data was collected from 1,289 male workers and 583 female workers of a large electronics company in February, 2000.
    The results were as follows;
    1. The scores of anxiety, depression, physical symptom and intention to leave were significantly decreased with increasing active coping in males and the scores of anxiety and depression were significantly decreased with increasing active coping in females.
    2. In multiple regression analysis, the sociodemographic factors affecting job stress symptoms, anxiety and depression were significantly higher increasing age and in singles, and significantly lower in protestant in males. Physical symptom was significantly higher in separations, and significantly lower in protestant in males. Anxiety was significantly higher in singles and physical symptom was significantly higher in protestant in females.
    3. In males, the sociodemographic factors affecting job outcomes, intention to leave was significantly lower increasing age and in clerical workers, and significantly higher in university and graduate school.
