수업매체의 발달과 학습환경의 변화 = On the Development of Media and Changes in Learning Environment

국문 초록 (Abstract)

학습환경은 학습자의 효과성, 효율성, 매력성을 제고하는 중요한 요소로써 오늘날 매우 강조되고 있다. 특히 과학의 발달은 수업매체의 변화를 초래하고 있고, 이러한 수업매체의 변화는 기존 학습환경에 큰 영향을 주고 있다.
본 연구는 미래의 학습내용과 학습방법에 관한 시사점을 얻기 위하여 오늘날 급격히 발달하고 있는 매체의 변화를 분석하고 이를 통하여 미래의 학습환경을 정리하는데 그 목적을 두었다.
본 연구의 내용을 요약하면 수업매체는 교사의존매체에서 교사독립매체로, 단일 매체에서 멀티미디어로, 시공간의 제약을 받는 매체에서 제약을 벗어난 매체로 발달하였고, 이에 따라 학습환경은 학습자 중심의 교육환경, 실제 문제상황을 통한 학습경험을 제공하는 교육환경, 시공간의 제약을 벗어나는 교육환경으로 변화하고 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The instructional media prior to the introduction of the computer is said to be different from that of the present days in three respects. First, the former, which doesn't have or lack the interaction between learning contents and learners, is teacher-dependent, while the latter, which exhibits such interaction,is teacher-independent. Second, only the latter makes it possible to represent learning contents in various forms and present them according to the necessity of the lesson plan. Third, unlike the latter, the former is limited to a particular time and place, and teacher-oriented.
As for as changes in educational environment that are taking place with the development of media are concerned, the following summarization is possible. First, learners have become the center of education, leading to changes in the roles of teachers, from mere instructors to study guides, assistants of study planning, and developers of teaching materials. Second, efforts have been made to make it possible for learners to operate and participate in the class by simulating an actual teaching setting. Third, it has become possible that both learners and teachers interact mutually at any time and at any place.
