음악활동에 대한 교사의 태도에 영향을 미치는 변인에 관한 연구 = A Study of the Variable Influencing Teachers` Attitudes Toward Child`s Music Activity

The purpose of this study was to examine the variables influencing kindergarten teachers` attitudes toward child`s music activity. To select the participants for this study, the researcher obtained 322 kindergarten teachers using a proportional stratified sampling in a City of Pusan, Korea. The instrument for this study was the questionnaire revised by the researcher based on Aleen`s questionnaire(2000). Questionnaires were distributed and collected by two research assistants. Collected data were analyzed using a descriptive statistics of mean, standard deviation, frequency, and percentage and t-test, one-way analysis of variance, and multiple regression. In brief, the results of this study are as follows. First, most teachers felt confidence, comfort, and need in doing and demonstrating music activities in kindergarten classrooms. Second, teachers` attitudes toward child`s music activity were differed according to teaching experiences, past music activity, and current music activity. Lastly, the factors influencing teachers` attitudes toward child`s music activity were the level of teacher`s interest, past music experience, and current music activity, and music-movement activity.
