The purpose of this study is to estabilish a psychological model on anger.
To achieve above purpose,
(1) several theories of anger and emotion were reviewed.
(2) the concepts of anger and emotion were examined.
(3) the important factors necessery to this anger model were identified.
(4) the psychological model of anger was constructed.
In the anger model constructed through this study, there are following elements of the model; the anger provokable elements, the individual's anger experience, the cognitive mediation variables between anger provokable elements and anger experience, the response to anger, the results of anger response, and coping methods on anger.
Futhermore, applicability of this model on anger was examined as follows.
(1) Through this model on anger, we can see evolution and process of anger in person, and enhance understanding how these factors in this model relate eachother.
(2) Because each element in this model is controllable variables, in practice of counseling or psychotherapy, these variables can be handled.
(3) This psychological model on anger can help understanding other emotions and developing coping methods on them.
