초등학교 영어교육에서의 이야기 분석과 활용 = Narrative Structure and Storytelling in Primary English Education

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

English educationin elementary school lays the foundation for the English education in middle school. The objective of primary English education is to keep primary pupils interested in English, motivatied and self-confident in English learning. This objective can be achieved through various methods, i.e., using storytelling, game, song, chant, rhyme, role play, etc. Of the many methods, storytelling is a very useful method in the primary English education.
The present study summarised previous researches on the discourse analysis of English narratives including stories, the developmental process of children's discourse types, and the developmental process of children's narratives. Finally, it presented ways of using narratives or stories in the primary English education.
