    As constructivists`` challenges to the traditional paradigm represented as objectivism or logical positivism have received increased attention from many disciplines, so defensive and critical reactions from objectivists also have been intensified to lead to arguments betwOO1 these two camps. The objectivists`` challenges to constructivism are categorized into the following five issues: 1) constructivism as a learning strategy, 2) constructivism as philosophical values; 3) constructivism as ideali2a:l subjectivism; 4) impracticality of constructivism; 5) the lack of instructional strategies. However, these ``problems`` of the constructivism pointed out by the objectivists turned out to be mostly generated from their misconception or partial understanding of the constructivism. Yet, these challenges to the constructivism by the objectivists, in other sense, provide opprtunities for the constructivism to build its status as an alternative learning theory and paradigm to the objectivism, more seriously endeavoring its theoretical development and practical implementation in the learning-teaching situations.
