澤堂의 學文的 態度와 文論의 性格 = Lee Shik's(李植) Persuit of learning and Character of literary theory

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to expilcate the literary theory of Lee
Shik and charcter of old prose style. Lee Shik was a scholar in the
middle period of the Chosun Dynasty at the same time and of the
Han Mun Sa Dae Ga (漢文四大家) which advocate the chosun old
prose and a literary man. He was in existence due to external
aggression of two times when Confused disorderly and flow in new
liter a ture except for Confucianism(儒敎) widely known to same
scholars but he reproach on this pursuit of learning and hold on to
conserrative pursuit of learning which respect for Confucianism. His
learning, too. His literary theory was summarized to Si-Yi-Sung(時
宣性) and Do-Mun-Il-Chi(道文一致).
He lay emphasis on style(文) as the essential factor of literary
character avail oneself of the times.
Because he recognized that a function of literater it is connect a
ancient and modern.
There fore he insisted on model old prose style of Tand-Song(唐宋)
after second, he insist on Do-Mun-Il-Chi(道文一致) however this
thoght on the correlation of Mun(文) with Do (道) is not master and
servand or couse and effect but stand in the relation of mutual help.
In this reason, he suggested as a ideal style for Yuk-Kyung-Gi-Mun
(六經之文) which keep the balance of Do(道) and Mun(文).
Third in this view the literary theory of Lee-Shik which advocates
the Chosun old prose style(古文) and he paid attention to this view-
point was largely found continuity of theory by future generation
Ko-Mun-Ga(古文家).
