    This study seeks to determine how teachers` training in children`s science education affects the scientific ability of young children. A total of 370 respondents including 14 teachers handling 3-, 4-, and 5-year-old kindergarten students, and young students in 14 classes were chosen. The classes were equally divided into the test group and control group. The research procedure lasted 16 weeks and measured the improvement of the children`s degree of interest in science and in scientific process technology, as well as their problem-solving ability in relation to scientific tasks. Results showed that children`s science education has a positive influence on children`s scientific ability and concludes that providing basic and advanced in-service teacher training in children`s science education is necessary.
