광주문화산업의 발전방향과 과제 = A Study of Development and Strategy of Kwangju Cultural Industry

국문 초록 (Abstract)

문화산업은 국가의 미래발전산업으로 선정하여 이를 체계적으로 발전시키려고 하고 있다. 옛부터 예향의 도시로 불리워져왔던 광주시도 본격적으로 문화산업을 육성발전시키기 위하여 중앙정부에 광주문화산업육성조성계획을 수립하여 신청하였다. 본 글은 이러한 배경하에 금번에 중앙정부로부터 선정된 광주문화산업에 대하여 앞으로 이렇게 육성발전시켜야 하는 가에 대하여 검토하는 것이 연구의 목적이다. 본 연구는 먼저 문화산업의 성격과 특징을 살펴보고 지방도시에서의 문화산업의 성공사례에 대하여 영국의 세팰드시를 중심으로 살펴보고 마지막으로 광주문화산업을 육성하기 위해서는 어떻게 해야 하는 가에 대하여 간단히 논의하였다.

The centural government is trying to develop the cultural industry as nation's future development industry. Kwangju city which has been named as art city was applying the Kwangju cultural industry plan to the centural government. This article is said about, at first, watching the chatacteristics and featurings of cultural industry, and then investigating the successful case of cultural industry of Sheffield city, England at the local level, at last talking about how is going to be developing Kwangju cultural industry.
