The purpose of this study is to identify ego-integrity and anomie among the elderly and io develop a tentative model about the ego-integrity. Data was collected from interviews with 420 old men 60 years or older, using a purposive sampling. One-way Anova, Scheffe-test and multiregression analysis was performed on the data. The major findings are as follows :
1) Family income, sex-role indentity, family relationship satisfaction, and anomie was the influential variables to ego-integrity(R^2 =.3374).
2) Family relationship satisfaction and ego-integrity was the influential variables to anomie(R^2=.2130)
3) The relationship of ego-integrity and anomie was significantly reciprocal one rather than causal. Also, the contribution of ego-integrity to anomie was stronger than vice versa.
