텔레비전 오락에 관한 ‘새로운’ 담화 정치학 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 논문은 TV오락과 그 보호를 위한 문화정치의 이론화를 시도한다. 텔레비전 오락은 기본적으로 탈영토, 탈코드적이라는 것이 연구자의 기본 입장이다. 현재의 TV오락이 지닌 명백한 문제와 한계는 오락적 즐거움의 탈주 잠재력을 봉쇄하고 이를 축적 전략화 하는 방송사의 공리적 책략에서 비롯된 것이라는 것이 두 번째 논의 내용이다. 결국 TV오락의 현실적 실패는 ‘잠재력의 현재화’ 실패가 된다. 그럼으로 오락에 대한 진보적 문화정치학은 이윤 획득을 이유로 오락적 즐거움의 잠재력을 감금하는 미디어 체제의 재 영토화 전략에 그 비판의 초점을 맞춰야 한다. 즉, 문화연구는 잠재성을 현재화하기 위한 이론과 철학, 방법론 계발의 책임을 진다. 이와 달리 TV오락의 실패만을 반복 지적하는 것은, 그 의도와 관계없이 원래적 잠재성을 억압하고 재 영토화 하는 방송사 내ㆍ외부 공리계의 작동에 협조하는 효과성을 가져온다는 점에서 새로운 맥락주의적 개입의 모형을 제시해 볼 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study attempts for the theorization of television entertainment and cultural politics for protecting it. It is the basic belief of this researcher that TV entertainment is fundamentally deterritorial and decodifying in its nature. :Manifest problems and shortcomings of today′s TV entertainment are caused by the strategies working inside the broadcastings to contain the deterritorial potentials and instead to utilize them for the accumulation of capital. The ‘failure′ of current TV entertainment is nothing more than the failure of ‘actualization of virtuality′. For this reason, progressive cultural studies of entertainment has to focus its discursive and practical resources on the reterritorization strategies, which contain the virtuality of entertaining pleasures for the goal of profit maximization. That is, cultural politics takes a responsibility for cultivating various theories, positions and methodologies to actualize the virtuality. Merely and repeatedly pointing out the limitation of TV entertainment will, regardless of its intention, bring the effectivity of supporting the repressive rationals working in and outside the broadcastings. Suggesting to depart from the conservative discursive networking, this paper will propose a new contexual model for engaging radically into TV entertainment.
