훈민정음의 언어유기체론에 대하여 : (Orthophonic Alphabet for the Instruction of the people) = An Organic Linguistic Theory of the Korean Alphabet

This thesis revaluates Korean Alphabet(Hunminjungum,訓民正音) with the philosophical description in the Haere(解例) Cejahae(制字解) in the find linguistic paradigm that is Korean Alphabet's original pursuit.
One of the most important character in Korean Alphabet wants to examine linguistic problems those are letter phonetics and phonology with philosophical principle. The linguist in 15C makes a new Korean Alphabet uses the philosophical system because that thought only using Chinese phonology does not gain rationality and logicality. This showed had a consistent language logic as make a letter and expound phonology. The linguistic system that is base on philosophical principles is by no means common amang West and East. This paper wants to show "What is the linguistic basis of Korean Alphabet ?" as well as Korean Alphabet's great national and linguistic values as Korean language.
They are short of examination as language theory because so far, studying for Korean Alphabet's philosophy mostly showed and introduced the reference in Korean Alphabet. This paper is focused on the Korean Alphabet's estimated value as mordern theory through the past philosophical theory. Korean Alphabet is easily said that it studies only letter sound phonology but philosophical theory can insists it gives theoretical background on Korean Alphabet through principles.
This paper insists that Korean Alphabet's linguistic basis is based on the organic linguistic system. The organic linguistic theory is different from other linguistic theories in the view point of structure.
The goal of this paper is not only gain the legitimacy of Korean language but also makes a universal linguistic theory in Korean language study.
Korean Alphabet has given the basis of theory that makes a new theory in structure theory in modern style as greatest linguistic treasure in the world. For long time, We, Korean language circle, has neglected to traditional methods without exemination of property. Korean language study are depend on the western theories, but we must always not depend on the western system. We need making our special theories, even if we used the western theory. If we extract our universal theories from traditional theories, it will be a very important theories. It is real that Korean Alphabet has special theories structure even though it is deductive and abstract in the western standard.
The constant linguisitic logic that Korean Alphabet showed will be foundation that can makes a method basis. If the traditional and modern studies are series of one paradigm, there will be great and real development. It is wrong and has dependent thinking that it is natural that theory is based on western system and unnatural that theory used on the Korean tradition theory.
There are all important philosophical theories of making priniciple in Korean Alphabet's the Haere(解例) Cejahae(制字解) in this writing, philosophical outline part and chosung(初聲,consonant),jungsung(中聲,vowel) and jongsung(終聲,consonant)'s making principle wrote of deductive three structure.
This writing method become important evidience for finding linguistic basis of method.
First level, the universal principle is on the premise the great cosmos theory; the dual principle of the negative and positive and the five elements.
Second level, the principle is on the premise the small cosmos theory; human and nature must follow this principle.
Third level, the linguistic logic is that human's voice system makes the universal principle through the universal movement.
Korean Alphabet system thought that human and language are one union of philosophical basis through the deductive structure. Human is a part of universe and language other of universe, thus, language will be made by this rule. Language making of Korean Alphabet is justified. Korean Alphabet is based on the language organic system.
The dual principle of the negative and positive that is basis of Korean Alphabet's theory is organic integration between whole and part. Second, part and the other part join together each other. Third. part and the other part is more than whole. etc….
Organic language system that human is the one of the small universes the important notion of the oriental medicine. Korean Alphabet has same thing. Human voice organ and phonemic system are all organic system and this organic system that make the phonemic system is the important view point.
The special feature of organic structure in Korean Alphabet consist of the organic making structure, the organic mutual help structure and organic harmony structure.
Humboldt, linguist in 17C, insisted the organic system in the western linguistic philosophy. Humboldt claim that there is not individual concept in language and all elements are showed as the part of the whole and organic whole. "Each word exist isolated subject but the are in the large union." this langurage view is different from Korean Alphabet theory of reason method but show the same basic cognition language is organic relation between whole and part.
