유아교육기관 인정제에 관한 개념화 연구 = A Conceptualization Study on Accreditation Framework of Early Childhood Programs

국문 초록 (Abstract)

유아교육기관의 전반적인 질을 평가하고 관리하는 인정제는 유아와 부모에게 질 높은 교육 경험을 제공하고 유아교육 관계자에게 효율적인 장학을 하기 위한 종합적인 방안이다. 인정제는 질적 수준을 등급 매기려는 것이 목적이 아니라, 질적 수준을 관리하기 위하여 프로그램의 강점과 결함을 세분화시켜 질적 수준의 제고를 기할 수 있게 해준다. 본 연구는 유아교육 프로그램의 평가방법의 하나인 인정제를 개념화하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이에 우리나라에서 유아교육 기관을 위한 인정제의 목적, 인정제의 방법, 기준과 과정을 시사 받고자 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to conceptualize accreditation framework for analysing of quality on early childhood programs. Accreditation framework is a strategy to improve the overall quality of early childhood programs. Accreditation serves two essential goals. First, it improves early childhood programs. Especially, self-study gives directors and teachers a framework to make concrete program improvements. Second, it gives parents information to identify high-quality programs. Namely, accreditation provides better quality of child-care programs and education for children, parents and experts.
In conclusion, we need to recognize the importance of implementing accreditation. Furthermore we have to develop specific accreditation criteria and systematic procedures to evaluate the components of child-care programs based on our current situation.
