교사문화의 생성과정 분석 = The Analysis of ？Formed Process of Teacher's Culture？

Teacher's daily life shows that teacher creates their history and go further on constructing their culture. Teacher as a active performer not only endows meaning with social situation, but has a correct understand about that. Moreover based on that meaning, they form their culture. In analyzing formed process of teacher's culture, they recognize their students through a uniform type to perform effectively their duty. They plan and practice a strategy, based on that recognition. This strategy, accumulated outcomes taking long-term by many teachers, put pressure upon modifying their type or put reinforcement.
As like this, Teacher's culture is constructed and formed gradually a common type from inner part of teacher group. Namely, teacher's culture is correspond to discord and dilemma between teacher's excessive expectation and realistic constraint in class. So teacher's culture is based on a kind of survival strategy, is directly connected class practices. Finally formation of teacher's culture is surroundings of teacher and class. Besides a creator is teacher and the source is their daily life. In this process, teacher's culture puts similar type upon them, and further governed their daily life.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

교사의 일상생활은 교사가 자신의 역사를 창조하고 나아가 자신의 문화를 구성하는 과정이다. 교사들은 일상 생활의 사회적 상황에 의미를 부여하며 그것을 기초로 행동을 취하는 능동적인 행위자이며 또한 자신의 문화를 생성하는 창조자이다. 즉 교사는 다양한 제약 속에서 일어나는 갈등을 조정하고, 보다 효율적이고, 훌륭한 직무수행을 하기 위하여 일정한 유형을 통하여 학생을 인지하고, 그 인지에 기초해서 전략을 세워 실천한다. 전략은 장기간에 걸쳐서 다수의 교사에 의해서 축적되는 것으로 그것은 종종 교사 개인에게 그 유형의 수정을 압박하거나 강화를 촉구한다. 이와 같은 행위를 통하여 교사집단 내부에는 점차로 공통의 유형이 구조화되면서 교사문화가 생성되게 된다. 교사문화는 교사의 생존전략을 기초로 하여 생성되기 때문에 교실실천과 직결된다. 따라서 교사문화는 교사가 대처하는 과잉기대와 교실의 현실의 제약과의 사이에서 일어나는 갈등이나 딜레마에 대처하는 산물로 볼 수 있다. 한 마디로 교사문화의 생성무대는 교실이며, 그 창조자는 교사자신이고, 그 원인은 교실구조 그 자체인 것이다. 이런 과정을 거쳐 확립된 교사문화는 교사에게 비슷한 유형을 갖도록 강요하는 강력한 장치로 작용하여 교사의 일상생활을 지배하게 된다.
