장애대학생의 지원서비스 프로그램 개발을 위한 기초 연구 = A Study on Support Service Program of College Students with Disabilities

국문 초록 (Abstract)

특수교육대상자의 대학입학 특별전형제도의 도입으로 장애학생의 고등교육 기회가 확대되었으나 양적인 팽창에 비해 교육지원체제의 부족으로 장애보상에 따른 적절한 학업수행을 이루지 못하고 있는 현실이다. 특수교육대상자 특례입학을 실시하는 대학에서는 장애학생을 위한 행정적인 지원체계 확립, 다양한 학습지원 서비스 제공, 접근성을 높이기 위한 편의시설 설치 등과 관련하여 종합적이고 체계적인 지원체제의 모델이 개발되어야 하나, 이제까지 이에 관한 연구는 미흡하였다.
본 연구는 교육지원체제를 통해 보다 질적인 학습권이 보장되고 장애학생의 삶의 질을 높일 수 있는 지원 서비스 프로그램 개발을 위한 자료를 얻기 위해 특별전형제도를 통해 입학한 60명의 장애 대학생들의 학교 생활 실태를 설문지를 통해 조사하고 3명의 개별적인 심층면접을 통해 그 문제점을 분석하여, 이들의 학교생활, 학업수행, 대인관계, 진로 및 취업의 실태와 그 특성을 밝히는 데 목적이 있다.

By introducing a special selection system for matriculation of students with disabilities who need special education, the opportunities for higher education of students with disabilities have been expanded. However, their adequate academic performance with the compensation of disabilities were rare to be found due to the lack of the education support system. In a institute which has an exceptional matriculation program for students with disabilities, it should be developed the model of comprehensive and systematic support which include the establishment of the administrative support system, various learning support services, and the installation of accessible facilities. But the resources about this topic has not much done yet.
This Study is aimed to investigate the actual condition and the characteristics about school life, academic(school work) performance, personal relationship, career and employment through analyzing the materials which are gathered by way of individual in-depth interview with three of the those students with disabilities and the survey with questionnaires of 60 students with disabilities who were admitted through the special selection system. As a result, the support service program was developed for being guaranteed more qualitative right of study, enhancing the quality of life of students with disabilities through the education support system.
