For the past two decades there has been persistent controversy regarding the effectiveness of the teachers' interaction behaviors, styles on the learning and development in early childhood. This study highlights the relationship between teachers' interaction behaviors and strategies in classroom and children's outcomes in early setting. Researches on teachers-childhood relationships and interactions styles are reviewed. Teacher-child interaction patterns are social context factors with particular salience for a number of social, emotional, language developments for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and academic outcomes in later schooling. The practice and the implications of interactions styles for teachers in early childhood classroom are suggested.
