OSP(Open Studio Process)를 활용한 미술치료사의 자기작업에 관한 내러티브 탐구 = A Narrative Inquiry on Art Therapists' Self-Work by OSP(Open Studio Process)

This inquiry was a two art therapist' qualitative study conducted by a narrative inquiry and researched the OSP(Open Studio Process) experience and wath it meant. 12 OSP session were conducted through a non-face-to-face video conference from June 2022 to September 2022, once a week for 2 hours and 30 minutes to 3 hours in each session. Intention and witness writings the therapists' artworks, and research journals were used as Inquiry resources. The meaning of OSP experiences was as follows. First, ‘No comment’ across the entire OSP safely held the object of both the image and the creator. Second, intention and witness writings in OSP consciously clarified what happened inside. Third, artworks in OSP was a safe place to stay and a way to discover the wisdom of solving problems. Fourth, referencing in OSP helped to expand the self-object by inspiring each other's artworks. Fifth, OSP enabled self-care through protecting the art therapists from burnout. Sixth, OSP would work as the way of spontaneous and continuous self-reflection. Based on these research results, the significance and limitations of the study were discussed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 미술치료사이자 연구자인 두 사람이 OSP(Open Studio Process)를 경험하는 모습과 그 의미가 어떠한가를 내러티브 탐구로 진행한 질적연구이다. OSP는 비대면 화상회의 프로그램(zoom)을 통해 2022년 6월부터 9월까지 주 1회 2시간 30분 ~ 3시간, 총 12회 진행하였다. 인텐션과 위트니스 글쓰기 자료, 연구자의 작업물, 연구 일지 등이 연구 자료로 활용되었다. 미술치료사인 두 연구자가 경험한 OSP의 경험의 의미는 다음과 같다. 첫째, OSP 전체를 가로지르는 ‘노코멘트’는 이미지와 창작자 양쪽의 대상을 안전하게 보유한다. 둘째, OSP에서 인텐션과 위트니스 글쓰기는 내면에서 일어나는 일을 의식화하여 명료화 한다. 셋째, OSP에서 미술작업은 안전하게 머무르는 공간이자, 문제해결의 지혜를 발견하는 방식이다. 넷째, OSP에서 레퍼런싱은 서로의 미술작업에 영감을 주어 자기대상의 확장을 돕는다. 다섯째, OSP는 미술치료사를 소진으로부터 보호하여 자기돌봄을 가능하게 한다. 여섯째, OSP는 미술치료사에게 자발적이고 지속적인 자기성찰 방식으로 제시될 수 있다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 연구의 의의와 제한점에 대하여 논의하였다.
