한국 독서치료 발전사 및 생애주기별 연구 동향 분석

국문 초록 (Abstract)

최근 심리적 불안, 정신적 스트레스 등을 해결하기 위해 감정이나 상처 치유와 같은 정신 건강에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 독서치료는 독서를 통해 빠르고 손쉽게 접근할 수 있는 정신건강 치료법 중 하나이다. 본 연구에서는 한국 독서치료의 발전사를 미국과 비교하고, 인간의 생애주기에 따른 연구 동향을 분석하여 차후 한국 독서치료의 발전방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 국내 학술데이터베이스(RISS, KISS, KCI)를 이용하여 최근 10년 동안(2012-2021)의 인간의 생애주기에 따른 연구 자료를 수집하고 한국 독서치료의 연구동향을 분석하였다. 연구 동향을 살펴본 결과 유·아동의 자아존중감을 높이거나, 청소년의 전반적인 학교생활 문제점 개선 등에 긍정적인 효과가 나타났다. 그러나 청소년을 위한 독서치료 프로그램 연구에 집중되어 있어 노인 대상 연구나 다양한 매체를 활용한 프로그램 연구는 매우 부족한 실정이었다. 차후 노인층을 포함한 좀 더 다양한 계층과 다양한 매체를 활용한 전문화된 독서치료 프로그램이 수행될 필요성이 요구된다. 본 연구 결과가 향후 한국 독서치료 프로그램의 개발 및 보급에 도움이 되길 기대한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Recently, interest in mental healing, such as emotional and trauma healing helping to decrease psychological anxiety and mental stress, has been growing. Among the various mental healing techniques, bibliotherapy is a mental health treatment that is performed through reading. In this study, the development history of bibliotherapy in Korea compared to the same in the Americas and its research trends according to the life cycle of humans were analyzed to provide baseline data for its improvement in Korea. Academic databases (RISS, KISS, and KCI) were used to collect research from 2012 to 2021 according to the life cycle of humans. Subsequently, the research trends of Korean bibliotherapy were analyzed. The results of the analysis show positive effects of bibliotherapy such as improving children"s self-esteem or enhancing adolescents" overall school life. The results also point out that various media were not used in programs of bibliotherapy. Hence, there is a need to implement specialized bibliotherapy programs with more diverse groups of people and use various media in the future. It is hoped that the results of this study will help in the development and propagation of bibliotherapy programs.
