    The rapid growth of industrial achievement, population increase and urbanization has resulted in an alleged environmental pollution, which has become a serious global problem today. In many countries, they try to protect life and property from being polluted. They make the act which prevent the pollution. There are two kinds of act. one is in the private law, the other is in the public law. The environmental pollution has traits such as continuance, repetition and irreversibility. It is very important to prevent the pollution before it happens because it is critical which can not be recovered in case it happens Accordingly, it is natural that damage by environmental pollution should exist, and so it is necessary to readjust the relief system of the private law. I want to introduce some of the legal theories which have been given attention by law scholars while at the same time pointing out the drawbacks associated with the civil remedy about the environmental pollution.
