실어증 선별검사 개발을 위한 내용타당도 검증 = Content Validity of Aphasia Screening Test Protocol

국문 초록 (Abstract)

배경 및 목적: 침상에서 실어증의 유무를 효율적 이고 정확하게 평가하기 위해서는 실어증 선별 검사가 필요하다. 그동안 실어증 환자의 언어능력 을 평가하기 위해 여러 가지의 실어증 검사가 활용되어 왔으나, 실제 검사 과제들이 언어수행력을 정확하고 적절하게 측정할 수 있는지에 대한 내용타당도 검증이 이루어지지 않았다. 이에, 본 연구 에서는 기존 검사들의 문항에 대한 내용타당도 분석을 실시하여, 실어증 선별검사 개발에 적용하 고자 하였다. 방법: 기존 실어증 검사(full battery)도구와 실어증 선별검사(screening test)도구의 하위 평가과제들을 분석한 후, 7인의 언어치료전문가들이 판단한 각 검사항목에 대한 척도점수에 근거하여 내용타당도 지수(Content Validity Index: CVI, 이하 CVI)를 산정하였다. 이를 토대로 새 롭게 개발될 실어증 선별검사의 평가문항들을 작성한 후, 그에 대한 내용타당도 검증을 실시하였 다. 결과: 14개의 평가문항들의 CVI는 모두 .60 이상으로 제안된 실어증 선별검사의 평가문항들이 실어증 유무를 선별하는데 타당한 것으로 나타났다. 논의 및 결론: 본 연구의 결과는 제안된 실어증 선별검사 도구 내의 문항들이 환자의 실어증 유무를 감별하고자 하는 검사의 목적과 적절한 연관 성이 있음을 보여준다. 이에 따라, 향후 실어증 선별검사도구의 표준화 과정의 전 단계로 검사문항 들의 내용적인 타당성을 확보했다는데 본 연구의 의의가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Background & Objectives: Essentials to the notion of routine aphasia evaluation at the bedside are efficiency of test administration as well as discriminative validity of measures. An aphasia screening test might satisfy the two conditions but existing aphasia screening tests have failed to verify content validity of test items. Thus, this study aimed to evaluate the content validity of aphasia tests and to propose test items of an aphasia screening test based on the evaluation. Methods: After analyzing the subtests of the aphasia assessment tools and aphasia screening tests, Content Validity Index(CVI) was calculated based on CVI of the test items judged by seven speech-language pathologists. Results: It was found that CVIs of the test items of the newly developed aphasia screening test were above .60 and thus the items were thought to be suitable to detect aphasia. Discussion & Conclusion: Aphasia screening test with optimal level of CVI of test items would serve as an appropriate screening test for detecting aphasia. A significance of this study was to provide content validity of test items as preliminary data in standardizing an aphasia screening test.
