국가 교육과정의 교육적 인간상 진술에 대한 비판적 고찰 = A Critical Examination of the Visions of an Educated Person in the National Curriculum

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In order to improve the national curriculum of South Korea, this paper aims to critically examine various issues that are embedded in formulating the visions of an educated person in the national curriculum. First, I explain the changes of visions for an educated person in the national curriculum,including the 2015 revision of the curriculum; I then discuss several questions in turn. First, I discuss the nature of the ideal education of Hong-ik-in-gan that is proclaimed in the Basic Education Act, and whether this ideal is absolute or not. Second, I deal with the issues related with the change of vision for an educated person. Third, I analyze the gap between the education ideal and the visions of an educated person. Fourth, I examine the relationships among the purpose of education for different school levels, the educational goals of different level schools, and the visions of an educated person. Fifth, I explore the most effective way to formulate the visions of an educated person in order to influence the practice of education. This study puts the focus on analyzing problems, thus providing research directions for further study.
