The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of selected individual and environmental factors on school violence of Korean early adolescents and analyze direct and indirect effects of the factors using path analyses. Expecially, this study tried to present a more complete model explaining school violence of Korean early adolescents by including parental punishment and it's fairness, teacher's punishment and it's fairness, the school environment, and the adolescent's perception on his/her school. The results indicated that the selected individual and peer factors have higher levels of effects on school violence and the selected family and school factors have relatively lower levels of direct effects on it. However, the results of path analyses indicated that the family factors such as relationship with parents and family conflict have indirect effects on the adolescents' school violence through the impulsiveness of adolescents which was an individual factor. Also the school factors such as teachers' punishment, the school environment, and the adolescent's perception on his/her school had indirect effects on the adolescents' school violence through association with delinquent friends which was a peer factor.According to the results of this study, the integrated approach which mediated among the interactions of individual, family, peer, school factors was more effective to prevent and reduce the rate of early adolescents' school violence and this work can be successively done by utilizing school social workers, since this study showed that the simple approach such as the control and punishment was not enough for dealing with the adolescents' school violence.
