심신통합적 움직임 교육으로서의 무브먼트 리츄얼(Movement Ritual)에 관한 고찰 = Introduction of Movement Ritual as a Body-Mind Integral Education

This research is a theoretical overview on how the “movement ritual” educational method, which was created by Anna Halprin, an American movement educator and avant-garde artist, realizes the mentally and physically integrative point of view. Therefore, the history of somatic education, an educational field that connects our mind and body closely through the movement education was examined. And I also studied on how the essential philosophy and viewpoint of these educational methods are applied to the movement ritual design and educational methods in reality. Movement ritual has been extended by the educational efforts to accept all kinds of experiences such as human body, psychology, images, imagination, creativity through movement. For this, the relation among the mentally and physically integrative theories was explained here through examining the field strategy of the teachers who facilitate the human “whole-person” experiences that the mentally and physically integrative education and healing treatment aim at.
