아동이 지각한 부모와의 개방적 의사소통이 아동의 참여권 인식과 참여권 행사에 미치는 영향 = The Effect of the Parent-Child Open Communication Style on the Perception and the Exercise of Children's Right to Participation

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 아동이 지각한 부모와의 개방적 의사소통 방식이 아동의 참여권 인식을 매개로 아동의 실제 참여권 행사에 영향을 미치는지를 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울 소재의 초등학교 5～6학년 아동 646명을 대상으로 설문조사를 시행하였으며, 수집된 자료는 기초통계 및 구조방정식 모형(Structural Equation Modeling：SEM)방법을 통해 분석되었다. 먼저 측정모형에 대한 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였고, 관련변인들 간의 이론 모형을 검증하기 위해 구조모형의 적합도를 평가한 후, 연구모형의 인과관계를 검증하였다.
분석 결과, 아동이 부모와의 의사소통에서 서로 의사교환을 할 때 상호 억압받지 않고 자신의 의견과 감정을 자유롭게 표현하는 개방적인 의사소통을 할수록 참여권을 행사하는 수준 또한 높아진 것으로 나타났다. 아동의 참여권 인식은 아동이지각한 부모와의 개방적 의사소통 방식과 아동의 실제 참여권 행사를 부분매개 하는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of the parent-child open communication style on the perception and the exercise of children’s right to participation. Specifically, this study attempts to investigate the mediating effect of the perception of the participation rights in the relationship between the open communication style and the exercising of the rights.
For the purpose, the survey was conducted on 646 fifth- and sixth-grade students in Seoul. To examine the hypothesized relationships between the latent constructs, structural equation modeling (SEM) was employed using AMOS 19.0.
The results of this study showed that：(1) The parent-child open communication style significantly influenced the perception of children’s rights to participation. (2) The perception of the participation right had a significant effect on the exercising of the rights. (3) There was a significant positive indirect effect of the perception of rights in the link between the parent-child open-communication style and the exercising of the rights. Based on the results, the study emphasized the importance of open communication between the parent and child in increasing the perception of the child’s rights to participate and the exercising of the rights.
