중학생의 부모양육태도와 외현화 증상과의 관계에서 자아통제와 자아존중감의 매개효과 탐색 = An Initial Investigation into Self-Control and Self-Esteem as Mediators in the Link Between Parenting Behaviors and the Externalizing Symptoms of Middle School Students

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This longitudinal study investigated the mediating effects of self-control and self-esteem on the associations between parenting behaviors and the externalizing symptoms middle school students. The participants were 3143 middle school students (2003-2004 panel 1 data of the Korea Youth Panel Survey). The results of structural equation modeling indicated that self-control and self esteem mediated the associations between time 1 parenting behaviors and the externalizing symptoms of time 2 middle school students, after accounting for the effects of time 1 middle school students' externalizing symptoms.
