GIS기반 군 관측소 입지분석 연구 = 조선시대 제5거 봉수를 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

관측소 위치는 군사작전을 수행하는데 중요하다. 조선시대 봉수제도는 500여년 동안 이어온 전통적인 군사 관측 및 통신체계였다. 조선시대의 유명한 지도제작자 김정호가 만든 대동여지도에는 조선시대 봉수대의 위치 수백개 소가 표기되어 있다. 봉수의 군사적인 목적을 고려해볼 때 봉수대의 위치에 대한 지형적인 특징을 분석하는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구의 목적은 GIS를 이용한 지형분석을 통해 군 관측소의 최적 위치 선정 요소를 파악하기 위한 것으로서 조선시대 제 5거 봉수를 대상으로 하였다. 그 결과 거리, 표고, 가시권, 경사도가 군 관측소의 위치를 선정하는데 핵심요소 임을 알 수 있었다.

A location of an observation post is important in military operation. Bongsu, the beacon system of Joseon, was the traditional military observation and communication system for 500 years. Daedongyeojido made by Kim Jeong-Ho, a great Joseon cartographer, presented hundreds of locations for beacon fire stations in the Joseon Dynasty. Considering the military purpose of Bongsu, it is necessary to analyze the topographical characteristics for locations of Bongsu. The purpose of this study is to find optimal location parameters for the military observation post by terrain analysis using GIS focused on the locations of 5th beacon fire stations in Joseon Dynasty. The result shows that distance, elevation, visibility, and slope are key parameters to determine the location of military observation post.
