      In this study, we would like to understand the difference between parent coaching competency with social-demographic factors and self-regulation and leadership of a child, the relationships among variables of parent coaching competency, self-regulation and leadership of a child. As this is the case, we conducted a survey involving 127 parents of 127 children under 5. With the data gathered, we analyzed Cronbach’s a, frequency and percentage, T-test, one-way analysis of variance, Duncan posteriori tests, correlation analysis of pearson and hierarchical Multiple regression analysis by using SPSS 18.0 Win program. We found that there was the difference between parent coaching competency with social-demographic factors and self-regulation and leadership of a child. Second, parent coaching competency, self-regulation and leadership of a child showed the positive relationship. Lastly, it turned out that the effects of social-demographic factors and parent coaching competency on self-regulation and leadership of a child were explanation and the study was meaningful. On the basis of this study, we discussed the education for parents to support the further study plan about parent coaching competency with social-demographic factors and self-regulation and leadership of a child.
