일본의 민자유치(PFI)제도 연구와 시사점 = A Implication from Study of Japanese PFI System

When Japan adopted the Private Financial Initiative(PFI) program, Japan`s situation, was similar to the Korea`s current situation. The situation was the aggravating economy and public finance, which were caused by the rigidity of public and finacial system, economic depression, collapse of bubble economy, succesive bankruptcy of monetary institutions. So Japanese government had to supply a diversity of financial resource into the economy for its resurrection. But Korea relied on the provision of the service of SOC. The similarity of two countries helps understand the shift of the PFI program. Finally this study suggests the resolution of this problem by disclosing information, building residents` participation system, protecting of environment, and minimalizing public charge as Japan did to overcome the financial crisis.
