1960년대 냉전의 시간과 뒤틀린 주체 = 시민의 시간과 민족의 시간

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 60년대 논의된 발전과 근대를 둘러싼 1967년 개최된 두 개의 심포지엄인 『韓國時代區分論』과 『한국근대화의 이념과 방향』에 대한 검토를 통해 내재적 발전론적 태도－당대 사용하던 표현을 빌자면 자본주의 맹아론－가 발견되었음을 분석하고자 한다. 동시에 두 개의 심포지엄이 보편적 자본주의 발전을 지향하는 ‘잠재적 시민’과 ‘민족’이라는 뒤틀린 두 개의 주체를 모색하는 과정이었음을 밝히고자 한다. 결국 이들의 시도는 ‘식민’이란 시간’－역사인식에서 정체론(停滯性論)－을 부정하고, 미래의 정상적 국민국가를 만들기 위한 집합적 욕망에 기초한 것이라고 해석 하고자 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this research is investigating the origin of theory of the embryo of capitalism in 1960s by evaluating the concept of development and modernity in <The Periodization on Korean History>(1967) and <The Ideology and Directions of Modernization in South Korea>(1967). Two symposium concerning modernization and embryo of capitalism were re-thinking process for finding out distorted subjects including potential citizen for universal development and nation of the past and 1960s. Finally intention of two symposium and intellectuals in 1960s was negation of time of colonialism based on collective desire for the purpose of building modern nation-state of future.
