유아교육기관에서의 부모교육에 대한 조사 연구 = A Study on the Parent Education in Early Childhood Education Settings

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 유아교육기관에서 실시되는 부모교육에 대한 인식 및 계획, 실행, 평가 현황을 기초로 부모교육 프로그램을 개선하고 활성화하는 방안을 모색하는데 있다. 연구대상은 60개의 유아교육기관이었으며 설문지와 구조화된 면접을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 연구결과, 유아교욱기관과 가정과의 관계는 일방향적인 것으로 이해되는 경향이 있었고, 부모교육을 위한 계획과 지원체계도 미흡하였다. 유아교육기관에서 다양한 부모교육 활동을 실행하고 있었으나 부모의 요구와 특성이 고려되지 않았고, 체계적인 평가도 이루어지지 않았다. 연구결과에 기초한 개선 방향과 미래연구를 위한 제언점이 제시되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to provide practical implications for early childhood parent education based on the analyses of the current status of the planning, conducting, and evaluation of parent education. The subjects of the study were 60 early childhood educational institutes. The results of the study show that early childhood educators understand the relationships between the family and educational settings as an one-way influence. The planning of and the supportive system for parent education are set at a minimum level. The conduct of parent education programs is limited in terms of the number of activities as well as strategies. Only informal evaluation of the parent education program is done. The implications for enhancing the quality of parent education are provided.
