교육의 자율성에 대한 교육철학적 접근 = Philosophical Approach to the Idea of autonomy of education

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Currently, the educational policy has pursued both the autonomy and the excellency in educational reform. In particular, the term of the autonomy in education means that it is free from government control only for the effectiveness of administration. In addition, the autonomy of education underscores the establishment of specialization of education and the training of human being with the free will. A discussion on the autonomy of education has always appeared in general educational phenomenon. Now, it is a question about whether the autonomy in education only means the excellency and effectiveness of educational activities and policy implication. In this regard, this study analyzed the limitations of philosophical approach of the educational idea, the autonomy of education in Lee`s government. Specifically, I seeked to examine `the autonomy of education` in the current educational reform through the Herman Nohl`s theory of education in order to the philosophical understanding of the current educational principles and situations. Nohl highlights that the autonomy of education is the core of education. Furthermore, the autonomy in education has been developed in the educational history itself, especially in the thoughts of education. He stressed the autonomy of education in terms of the rights of children and learners. In other words, the autonomy in education may be accomplished when it should be protected from institutional enforcement and social control. In conclusion, it may be noted that the autonomy of education should be understood as the fundamental rights of children as well as learners who is not subject to control from outside.
